molly + jeff

Molly and Jeff had an awesome wedding at Anderson Center for the Arts.  The ceremony was supposed to be outdoors at the park, but as seems to be the norm this year, was rained out.  It looked like the call to move the ceremony indoors wasn't going to be necessary as it seemed nice much of the day, but as soon as the ceremony started you could hear thunder, and it poured shortly afterwards, everyone would have been drenched!  

Ceremony and Reception:  Anderson Center for the Arts

Florist and Design:  George Urbanski -- He did an incredible job with the flowers, and helped make everything perfect, especially with moving the ceremony indoors the day of the wedding!!

Cake:  Classic Cakes of Carmel  of course you can never go wrong with Classic Cakes

DJ:  Chris with Grapevine Entertainment

Videographer:  northernlight filmworks  I just love their work and they were great to work with, I can't wait to see the video they put together from Molly and Jeff's wedding!

Molly's mom did her hair, just like she did when molly was little... go mom!

Molly ended up going with an asian theme for her wedding.   She was supposed to arrive at the ceremony in this rickshaw.  Her dad assembled it, she painted it!  It ended up being perfect for the gift table!

Hi Molly!  Here's a couple pictures I wanted to show you guys before I jet across the pond.  

You're wedding was so much fun, I loved the asian theme and your outdoor backup plan ended up being perfect!  

lauren + brian

Lauren and Brian were married at Our Lady of Mount Carmel and their reception was at the Bridgewater Club.  Everybody was SO happy and had so much fun all day long!  

Lauren took their guestbook to the rehearsal and salon and had just close friends write in it and they FILLED it up :)

Don't you just love the little splash of color in her flowers??

When the toasts got emotional, support ran to the rescue.

Hey Lauren! Welcome back from MEXICO!

I just wanted to post a couple pics for you, the rest will be ready in a couple days!

merrin + greg, pt 2

Part two of Merrin and Greg....  so many favorites it was hard to pick!

this is Merrin and Greg dancing with her sister Emley and brother-in-law Luke.  I shot Emley and Luke's engagement I think nearly three years ago!  The cool thing is that Greg met Merrin through his best friend Luke, and now they're brother-in-laws...

I'm mostly just posting some detail shots today, more will be coming soon :)

Merrin and Greg had a beautiful June wedding!  Rain threatened all day and you could hear thunder several times throughout the day but it stayed dry for us!

Ceremony:  Horse Barn  -- Yes, Merrin LOVES horses!

Cocktail Hour:  Back Yard

Reception:  Horse Pasture

Coordinator:  Leslie Jones Weddings  Leslie was great to work with!

Videographer:  B&C Digital Media Brandon and Cybil are one of the best videographers around!  and because of my background in tv, I'm PICKY when it comes to videographers!

Floral Design:  McNamara Florist McNamara actually flew in some of the hydrangeas from South America so Merrin could have the right colors, that's awesome customer service! 

Cake and Caterer:  Kahns Catering  

This next picture is a Tag watch, it was Merrin's gift to Greg.... thing is, they weren't supposed to buy each other gifts!!

Merrin's dad plays the bagpipes and led everyone from the coctail hour to the tent for the reception.  The pots have everyone's names for their table assignments, a very cool presentation.

This was the sign in for the guests, I just threw it in cause it's an e-session image I took :)

This was one of the centerpieces, I think it was almost 6' tall!

The table setting...   the boxes had cookies with smiley faces on them.  They were Greg's favorite cookies growing up.

And lastly, these luminaries were lit along the path to lead people from the tent to the house.

jada + joe

Jada and Joe had an awesome wedding at the Paramount Theatre in Anderson.  Joe is an animator and was even nominated for an Academy Award for his short film "Stubble Trouble", he met Jada at Columbia College where he teaches.  They did so many different things to really make their wedding fit them.  I love weddings like theirs!

Joe told me that when they visited the Paramount Theatre he instantly knew they HAD to have their wedding there.  What could be more perfect?  The ceremony started out with three short films, with a new one Joe created just for their wedding!  It was really cute, it had joe + jada + their dog and a squirrel....

This is upstairs by the entrance to the balcony,  what an awesome room to get ready in!

From behind a curtain during the ceremony:

Jada and Joe were married by Swami's and stepping on this rock was part of the ceremony

At the reception, the table markers were movie posters, and not just any movie posters...   They painstakingly photoshopped themselves into the frames.  This would have been HOURS AND HOURS of work.

The cake topper was the Stubble Trouble guy holding Jada!!

I LOVE this image from their first dance!

Joe gave the groomsmen Chucks, and I grabbed this shot while they were all on the dance floor.

And for those of you who know I don't manipulate my images in photoshop...  this is all LIGHTING.  Oh and Adobe Lightroom.

monique + saul

Monique and Saul's ceremony was supposed to be outside at the World War Memorial but with SO MUCH rain on their day it had to move inside.  It was a last minute decision that didn't rain on their parade :)  They were definitely good sports about it and ended up having an awesome wedding!

Coordinator:  Jen Wells was the coordinator and put a lot into making sure their day went smoothly especially with all the last minute changes.  

Caterer and Cake:  Kahns Catering

The Tulips were wrapped with a little wire to hold them closed, I really liked this!

Kurtis assisted me with this wedding and got this awesome shot:

Everybody got a little bag of m&m's and skittles.... how cool was that idea?

We set up photobooth at their wedding too, so many fun images!!

Amanda and Gustavo had a beautiful wedding at The Conrad in Indianapolis.  Many guests flew into town from out of the country and The Conrad was an excellent choice to show off Indiana to their guests!  

Amanda had the Presidential Suite to get ready and was even able to have her dog with her!!

In an effort to get back to regularly posting on my blog...

This is an image I shot this weekend at Jada and Joe's wedding.  

The wedding bands were poured out of the same piece of gold and formed to match the engagement ring that had belonged to the Joe's grandmother!

The dots are magnets that Jada made for their guests, painstakingly cutting black and white photos and gluing them to glass stones and magnets.  She made HUNDREDS of them.
